The Bis paper knife designed by Giulio Iacchetti joins the knives for the office designed by the same artist. After the thematic elaboration of Air and Water, Iacchetti draws inspiration from Earth and its animals. Bis means grass snake in Lombard dialect and the knife has the shape of a snake that sinuously slithers over the ground. The handle, which is the snake’s flat, triangular head, makes it easier to grip the paper knife and the sharp, pointed tail can be used as an envelope opener. The thickness and undulated shape of the paper knife make this a lovely item to touch.
